

Marc's career in language and the arts started in Hong Kong in 1997, working for an art consultancy responsible for placing some of the most significant pieces of public art in the Asia-Pacific. In 1998, he started a bachelor of arts degree in linguistics at University College London, graduating with first-class honours in 2001, before working in business development and communications for an interior design company operating in Europe, the Gulf States and the Middle East. In 2010, seeking to expand his experience, he began to offer his services as a writer and communicator to clients working in sectors as diverse as healthcare, the life sciences, technology and energy, work which has regularly taken him to Asia, Europe, North America and beyond. He has recently pursued and been awarded a PhD in Creative Writing from Durham University.
